So, the trip to Texas was short and bizarre.  Completely fucking bizarre. I didn't much care for the hotel I stayed in on Wednesday.  It was an old joint built in 1925 and I was never comfortable.  However, it was close to what is left of the West End so I went on over to pick up som . . . ()

You, my poor neglected reader, may or may not remember that Mom's house burned down in May. From there Mom, the BIL, and the nephews ended up living in one of those home suite places back in Irving for a month. Somehow my sister ended up coming back. I'm not going there because it irritates the piss . . . ()
